Just in time for Halloween! Vinyl Toy Freaks and October Toys are teaming up to give you a Z.O.M.B.I.E. horde. Our winner will receive all 4 sets of Z.O.M.B.I.E. figs (green, blue, white, and GiD) and a set of Z.O.M.B.I.E. art cards created by some of the most talented artists on the Zombie scene today. Dawn of the Dead(Romero's original materpiece not that piece of slag that came out a few years ago)
This movie is just so much fun to watch. Not only does it deal with issues of consumerism, race, and class. But gives you a fun ride while doing it. We get to see the panic of the begining of the outbreak. some good zombie fighting action. some laughs and an epic biker gang/zombie battle at the end. I could watch this movie any day and be captivated every time.

I love all of the Romero zombie flicks but my favorite is the 1990 remake of Night of the Living Dead. Yeah I know it's a remake and everyone else loves the old black and white one, I love it too. The reason I love the remake is that Barbra is a strong kick ass woman in this version. Instead of freaking out the whole time like in the remake she's the only one thinking clearly. Not to forget that she is a beautiful red head who can shoot a magnum in a tank top.Oh yeah also the movie is directed by Tom Savini who is just awsome in everything he does. I could go on but i suggest giving it a second look with trying to compare it to the old one.Anyways happy world zombie day.-BriareosH

Zombies Of Mora Tau ....I picked this one for a few reasons.....It's in black and white (black and white movies are just better ), most of the action takes place at sea....the zombies are undead sailors protecting a sunken hoard of diamonds....and there's an island where voodoo is practiced (Mora Tau).

I agree that this is one of the few remakes ever made that was actually pretty decent. I think a big reason for this is that Savini and Romereo share a vision on what these movies should do and because of that they were able to make a remake that was frsh and updated but at the same time stayed true to it's original intent. I own them both and enjoy them both pretty much equally I'd say.

I'd have to go with 'Braindead' as my favorite zombie flick of all-time. You definitely have to have a strong stomach and have a love for 'everything gruesome' to handle this classic. There is just enough humor to take the edge off of the non-stop gore. If you haven't seen this one yet, don't hold your breath waiting to see it on late-night TV. I'm giving this one 5 unstoppable, flesh-ripping zombies out of 5.

Yeah I'm gonna go with Braindead too, you can't beat that nice bubblicious-tomato-juice-blood, feeding-your-zombie-family-in-the-basement feeling Ow and freaky zombie babies rule
