What's everyone saying about Cavy? Have you all seen him yet?
The shape of the DIY version is classic and it'd be good to see some customs. We're hopefully having some exclusive Union Jack (English Flag) versions made but it's just at the planning stage. When there's news i'll post it up.
If anyone on here has customized a Cavy please send me some pictures.
    Laterz, TwoFeetDeep.

I haven't been around this forum for a while, but I saw your post on the Urban Hamsters. I'm a fan! Mathias did a run of grey and pink Hamsters for Neon Monster for Wondercon SF, and I'll be posting pics of those this week. What I dig most is that they're being made by a guy who is doing it for the fun of it--it's not yet another animal-shaped DIY toy being put on the market to make money. I get lots of emails to try to help promote or critique someone's toy, but Mathias' enthusiasm for the medium resonated (resin-ated?) with me. So there you go! I look forward to seeing more Cavy customs, too. I'm no artist, but my wife is helping me customize one :)

Personally I prefer the version with non-articulated arms....the overall design just looks better imo....I never did like those pudgy dunny-like appendages people so often use....definitely interested to see what people are doing with these.....hopefully I can pick up a blank somewhere to have a play with  :pickledance:

    hi resin addicted peeps,  ;D

as jeremy metioned, the effort and the pleasure how mathias is getting his feets into
the resin scene is very infective! i had the pleasure to get one of the first urban hamsters
from him by myself! these little guys are really sweet & a pretty cool platform.
i just begun to customize my first one & i will post a bunch of pictures of them
    for sure when i'm done!
