went out to the show, its all about 80's cartoons.
lots of great pieces and all affordable. i bought 2 pieces for myself and all the art is priced between $100.00 - $4,500 U.S.
im posting some photos and hope this doesnt take up to much room. sorry for any blurring or glared photos. i took these all with my trusty iPhone so some arent really great but im trying.

theres a few i couldnt post due to explicit content.

heres the gallery info if anyone is interested in anything.

The concept of this show is realy very cool, but I have to say that I was a little disappointed by the overall quality of the work. There are a few standout pieces but when you think about how rich the subject matter is, you really could expect a little more.

Jim's Care Bear painting kicks major backside, I dig the Cobra briefcase and the Thundercats piece (the one by Gearbox).

Don't believe me, look at the Stan Lee show or I Am 8 Bit, similar concept but it was just pulled off with that much more flair and passion.

Incidentally, anybody care to volunteer their preferred cartoon of choice for an art piece.

I'd have to go with something inspired by The Herculoids and if that's too old a show, then Battle of the Planets.

BTW cool photos eLOCO, it's cool to see this stuff.

i totally agree and i thought there could have been a lot more content like ohhh Thundar the Barbarian, Galtar, BOTP for sure francz. maybe WWF, Hong Kong fuey, Johny Quest, Dungeons and Dragons, Plastic Man, did i mention i was a T.V. kid. i could go on and on and on. i felt this medium could have went alot further but it is what it is.

Mr. Koch, great job man. i love the punker care bears for sure.
